The International Network on Displacement and Resettlement (INDR) is an incorporated (2004) not-for-profit,  international  professional group initially organized in 2000. Its members work in all aspects of development-induced displacement and resettlement (DIDR) ranging from on-the-ground managers of displacement projects to socio-economic project designers, evaluators, policy developers, lawmakers focusing on takings, and more.  Our primary concern is for people who are “in the way” of development and desire to prevent, avoid or mitigate the predictable but preventable negative outcomes.
